Rob Anderson

Dip.Bus, CPA, GAICD
 

Rob was appointed to the Board of Directors in April 2018. He is a non-executive Director with 15 years of governance experience across the health, education, local government and finance sector, including experience as a Board Chair and Committee Chair. 

Rob also brings career and executive experience across financial services, information technology and risk management in both General Management and consulting roles, including 17 years with an ASX top-10 company.

He is also a Director of the The Bays Healthcare Group Inc., a Trustee of the John T Reid Charitable Trust, an Independent Audit Committee Member of the Indigo Shire Council, and Treasurer of Moorooduc CFA.

Fiona Shanks

BBus (HRM), DipBusMgt, CAHRI, MAICD
 

Fiona was elected to the Board of Directors in November 2017.  She has a Bachelor of Business in Human Resources and a Diploma of Business Management, and is a Certified Member of the Australian Human Resources Institute. She is an experienced Director of People and Culture within the Health, Local Government and Natural Resource Management sectors.

Fiona brings significant management experience in aligning culture to strategy, risk management, corporate governance and legislative compliance. She lives and works across the North-East Region, in particular the areas of Wodonga, Wangaratta and Myrtleford. She has held a number of positions on Not-for-Profit Boards locally within the Education sector.

Fiona has three children (4, 6 and 24) and understands the challenges and pressures facing every-day families financially as they try to balance their children's education and health needs with daily living pressures and financial planning.

Julie Guest

BBus, CA

Julie was elected to the Board of Directors in November 2017.  She is a Chartered Accountant, with nearly 10 years experience mentoring small business owners, working in Superannuation, Audit and Business Improvement. Previous to this, Julie was a Partner of an accounting firm for 16 years, and was on the Board of a smaller Mutual ADI for 18 years. Currently, Julie is an independent Audit Committee member of Moira Shire Council.

Julie has been involved with many Yarrawonga sporting committees and community projects since moving there in 1986.

Victoria Schmidt

B.Sci(Engineering), CPIM
 

Victoria was appointed to the Board of Directors in November 2018. She has extensive Information Technology experience at the senior management level, project managing corporate technology implementations at global organisations.

Victoria has also been a Board Director for many years driving corporate strategies, financial accountability, business improvement, risk management and governance for two organisations in North-East Victoria.

Gavan Nolan

B.Ec (ANU), CAANZ
 

Gavan was appointed to the Board in 2019 and has a family connection to the Credit Union dating back to its inception.

Gavan is a Chartered Accountant with 40 years experience in professional public accounting, his most recent appointment as partner in a National Accounting firm that specialised in business reconstruction, business turnaround and insolvency.

He has recently relocated back to Wangaratta and has furthered his commitment to the local community through active engagement with a major sporting organisation in the region.

Gavan is married to Carol and has 2 children.
