Carol Judd

B.Bus (Acct), FCPA, MAICD 

Carol joined the Board of Directors in November 2016, having worked with or served as a board member for many prominent organisations. She is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. 

She is also a Fellow of CPA Australia and has recently retired after over 30 years in public practice accounting, 17 of them running her own business.

In her spare time, Carol is  a volunteer with Lifeline Albury and CareWest.

Carol was elected Board Chair in Novemeber 2017.


David Iverson

Dip.Law, MAMI 

David was elected to the WAW Board of Directors in 2012. He is a retired lawyer and previously a partner of Harris Lieberman specialising in commercial, estate, local government and business law. 

He also served on the Wodonga Council for 10 years with 2 terms as Deputy Mayor. He has been a member of Apex, Lions and Rotary, as well as serving on the O&M Football League Tribunal.


Julie Guest

BBus, CA

Julie is a Chartered Accountant, with nearly 10 years experience mentoring small business owners, working in Superannuation, Audit and Business Improvement. Previous to this, Julie was a Partner of an accounting firm for 16 years, and was on the Board of a smaller Mutual ADI for 18 years. Currently, Julie is an independent Audit Committee member of Moira Shire Council. Julie has been involved with many Yarrawonga sporting committees and community projects since moving there in 1986.  Julie was elected to the Board in November 2017.


Mark Dixen

Grad DipEd Studies, DipAg, DipCH, TC, Cert IV CLM, MAMI 

Mark was elected to the Board of Directors in 2010. He has significant experience working with professional organisations  including the Duke of Edinburgh Award, Albury Wodonga Eisteddfod and Red Cross.

He is also active in community-based groups involving theatre, choirs, education, the bush fire brigade and environmental issues.


Fiona Shanks


Fiona was elected to the WAW Board of Directors in November 2017.  Fiona has a Bachelor of Business (HRM) and Dip. Business Management, and is a Certified Member of Australian Human Resources Institute.  Fiona works in the Local Government sector and brings significant management experience in the areas of corporate governance, risk, and organisational development. Fiona is looking forward to making a contribution to the broader WAW Community and getting to know the customers.
